The TTL Map
Someday, we’ll put on a virtual reality headset and visit the world’s most unique places. That day is not today.
There’s something about seeing, feeling, and experiencing that’s very human. It can open your mind to possibilities you couldn’t see just moments before.
We tend to get into hard routines. We’ll drive past the same thing for a year before a visitor points out something unique about it. Fresh eyes see new opportunity.
It’s why TTL goes so many places, so many oddball places others skip. In any given year we’ll do a decade worth of traveling. From the Trollstigen in central Norway to the near-perfectly designed Hotel Fasano Punta del Este in Uruguay.
And we’ve decided to mark these places on a Map you have access to.
The way it works is, you click around the map, see notes from places, then have the option to click out to your own Google Maps page and save the spot.
This way, you’ll be able to use our past travel to generate your own ideas of what to go see, do, or learn about next.
This is not a curated roadmap. Not one of the spots marked compensated or even asked for the pin.
Further, things change over time. Hotels change hands, chefs retire, and private equity buys and destroys once-unique experiences. And that’s the fun of it… there’s always something new to discover.
So, click around on the TTL Map. Read the notes, have fun with it.
And watch it grow… we’re only about half way through adding pins, and that doesn’t include upcoming travel.
